Anna Viola Cox (nee Hebenik) of Barons, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Colin Cox passed away at The Good Samaritan Society Park Meadows Village on March 12, 2020, at the age of 89 years.

Annie was born on the old Lethbridge Bridge on June 1, 1930. Annie loved to crochet, go camping, play cards and spend time with her family. She was a member of the Royal Purple and loved to go to Legions.

Annie is survived by her children Bob in Ocean Shores, Wash., Bev in Kelowna, Albert, Carol (Brent) in Squamish, Charlie (Lois) in Buck Lake; grandchildren Tannille (Jeff), Shannon (Talip), Dustan (Tresa), Cherrice (Maker); 5 great-granddaughters, extended family and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Lydia Hebenik and her brother Carl Hebenik.

A special thanks to the staff at The Good Samaritan Society Park Meadows Village for all the care they provided for mom.

Mom will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the spring.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
