It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Angelo Sultan announces his sudden passing in Calgary, Alberta, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the age of 26 years.
Angelo was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, to his loving parents, Reynaldo and Dolores Sultan, and grew up alongside his older brother, Christian. He attended Catholic Central High School, graduating in 2017. During his school years, Angelo enjoyed playing football and built many friendships and memories that he carried with him throughout his life. Following high school, he attended Lethbridge Polytechnic before beginning his career with Alberta Health Services. More recently, Angelo moved to Calgary, where he had begun an exciting new chapter in his career as an Engineering Technician.
Angelo had a love for life and for the people closest to him. He was happiest spending time with family and friends, whether camping outdoors, travelling, attending music festivals, playing video games, or simply enjoying each other’s company. He shared many special adventures, travels, and memories with his girlfriend, Sandy Daraseng, who was an important and cherished part of his life.
Family meant everything to Angelo. He deeply valued time spent with his parents, his brother, and his immediate and extended family. His Catholic faith remained an important part of his life, and he carried with him a strong connection to the values and traditions he was raised with.
Angelo will be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of those around him and for the many memories he created with the people he loved. His sudden passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of his family and friends, but the love, laughter, adventures, and memories he shared will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Reynaldo and Dolores Sultan; his brother, Christian Sultan; his girlfriend, Sandy Daraseng; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Angelo will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13 St N, Lethbridge, AB, with Father Santiago Torres, Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Royal View Cemetery.
