Angelo immigrated to Canada in 1950 to a farm north of Lethbridge. Dosolina and their son Tony joined him in 1951. Their daughter Anita was born in 1953. The family moved into Lethbridge in 1957, where Angelo worked for Purity Dairy and Catelli's until 1975. He and son Tony started what was to be Angelo's life's work and hobby - Alta Aluminum. He was involved in the business until two weeks before his passing. His greatest pleasures in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking for the family gatherings, growing his own grapes and wine making, which was top quality and enjoyed by all of us. He was extremely proud of his home and garden, and of course the shop, where he would spend seven days a week if Dosi did not call him home.
He was a proud member of the Italian-Canadian Club of Lethbridge and enjoyed their many activities and outings, and especially their Chorus of which he was a member. He and Dosi visited Italy many times, but Canada, his adopted country, was his great pride.
