Andrew Elaschuk

ANDREW ""ANDY"" ELASCHUK, beloved husband of Elizabeth ""Betty"" Elaschuk passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on March 13, 2007 at the age of 88 years.

Andy was born on May 24, 1918 on the farm in Turin, Alberta to Elizabeth and Nicholas Elaschuk. Andy loved the outdoors, working the land, cattle, sports, hunting and fishing -- he was a farmer.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by Betty, his wife of 52 years, daughter Janice (Loren) Montgomery, sons Norman (Gloria) Elaschuk and Brian (Jackie) Elaschuk, grandchildren Jenna Montgomery, Anndie Elaschuk, Tyler, Curtis and Nicole Elaschuk. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law Annie (Nick) Stronski of Lethbridge, Vicki (Ray) Franks of Bremerton, Washington and two sisters-in-law Annie Elaschuk of Lethbridge and Irene Nordean of Picture Butte and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 6 brothers George, Bill, John, Fred, Nick and Georgie and 4 sisters Mary Woynarowich, Verona Uridge, Daisy Pickering and Helen Wallace.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St. South, Lethbridge, AB. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
