Andre Marien 1941 ~ 2014 With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, Father and Grandfather Andre Marien of Picture Butte on February 11, 2014 at the age of 72 years. Andre was born December 22, 1941 in Dessel, Belgium. Dad is survived by his loving wife Mia of 44 years and 3 children of Picture Butte son Filip (Kim), Peter (Shawna), Melissa Yanosik (Daniel). Andre was proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren Chad, Kathryn, Justin, Emily, Callum, Cassidy, Kody, Nathan, Bethany and McKenna. Andre was predeceased by his beloved daughter An in 1993. Family was the joy of Andre's life, his other joy was his work. He worked on Dairy Farms for more than 55 years. We invite family and friends to the celebration of Andre's life at 2:00pm on Wednesday February 19, 2014 at the Trinity United Church 528 Maple Crescent, Picture Butte, with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating. At the family's request in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
