On January 20, 2019 Gloria Jean Anderson of Picture Butte passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Gloria is survived by her brother-in-law Ben of Edmonton; sister-in-law Terry of Shaughnessy; nieces Laurie (Rainer), Linda and Lisa (Brian) all of Edmonton and her nieces Paula (Marcus) and Karen (Joe) of Seattle as well as several great-nephews and nieces.

 Gloria was predeceased by her husband Edgar; her parents Paul and Anna Trapp; her siblings Maxine, George and Pauline and her nephew Philip.

Gloria enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces as a young woman and served at several bases in Canada as well as the Canadian base in Lahr, Germany. Gloria loved animals and was “owned” by numerous dogs and cats throughout her life. Gloria was also an avid reader. Her vast collection of books covering diverse topics brought her much joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM, on Monday, February 4, 2019, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
