Alma Lees

After a courageous battle with cancer, ALMA LEES passed away peacefully surrounded by her family of February 7, 2008 at the age of 76. Alma will always be remembered as a generous, warm and Loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Her warmth and genuine concern for others, her wisdom, wit and quick sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alma is survived by her dear friend and companion Garth Howlett, and her children Wayne (Leah) Lees, Wendy (Tom) Paterson, Marilyn (Wayne) Jensen and Toby (Jeff) Pennington. In addition she leaves behind her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She created so many wonderful memories which will be carried with us throughout our lives. Alma loved spending time with family and long-time friends. She loved to create whether it was through her sewing, crafts, watercolor paintings or cooking. Alma saw beauty and good in everyone and everything.

A Celebration of Alma's Life will be held at 1PM on Monday, February 11, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge.
