Allan Leith 1922 ~ 2014 We the family of Allan Leith, are saddened to announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and brother-in-law. Allan is survived by his wife Lillian, children Elaine (Darrell) Slauenwhite, Barry (Eileen), grandchildren Michael (Joy), Jennifer (David) Hodge, Patrick (heather and his great-grandchildren Joshua Leith, Danika, Xander and Rylee Hodge. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Ken (Eileen) Tighe and sister-in-law Audrey Leith as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Allan was born in the Eastern Township, Quebec and came west on a threshing crew, where he met Lillian. They married and moved to Quebec where Elaine was born and returned to Alberta a short time later where Barry was born. He worked for Canada Land in Arrowood then the PFRA in Vauxhall. He later transitioned to Alberta Environment as Water Master for Travers Dam, Lake McGregor and Little Bow. His two greatest enjoyments were driving and being with his family. Most memorable was when the two were combined travelling across Canada and to Australia. His pride and joy were his three grandchildren and great four grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, on March 5, 2014 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. A private graveside service to be held at Archmount Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
