Alexander Forrayi

ALEX FORRAYI of Picture Butte, beloved husband of Elva Forrayi, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the age of 78 years.

Alex was born on October 1, 1933. He loved the outdoors, the flowers and the trees, especially gladiolas and iris. Over the years Alex belonged to many organizations, including the Lethbridge Symphony Organization, Elks Club, Lions Club, and he especially treasured his time spent with the Lethbridge Rock Hounds Association, the Hungarian Old Timers Society and the Picture Butte Happy Old Timers Club. Alex's hobbies included salmon fishing on the West Coast with his buddies, planting flowers, reading, and enjoyed spending time outside.

Besides his loving wife Elva, Alex is survived by his daughter Maryanne Forrayi (Miguel Acha), son Brad Forrayi, grandchildren Alexandra and Matias, as well as his brother Paul Forrayi and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Alex was predeceased by his parents Mary and Gaspar Forrayi.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
