Aldonna McAvoy

MRS. ALDONNA MABEL McAVOY of Lethbridge went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 62 years.

Aldonna will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She was a kind and generous lady. She was a beacon to her family, the light and love in her home was open to all in need.

Aldonna is survived by her mother Sarah Brass; children Nelson (Isobel) Keewatin, Aleisa (Terry) Keewatin, Ashley Keewatin, Trina Keewatin, and Nicole Keewatin; special friend and companion Arthur Theibert; grandchildren Michelle Keewatin, Michelle Mensies, Matthew Keewatin, Shawn Keewatin, Patricia Rapheal, Natasha Keewatin, Jessica Delaney, Michaeleen McMaster, Malcolm Peyachew, Letisha Peyachew, Alexander Peyachew and Andrew Poorman; great-grandchildren Braxton Neufeld, Alexis Keewatin, Troy Spotted-Eagle, Micheal Keewatin, Elaine Spotted-Eagle and Attila Keewatin; siblings Mack Lussier (Hope), Darryl Brass Sr. (Linda), Ursula Favel and Petra Villebrun (Tom); brother-in-law Albert Daniels; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her father Herbert Brass. Her first husband and father of her children Michael Roy Keewatin; her second husband Edward McAvoy; daughter-in-law Isobel Pierrot; sons-in-law Wayne Rapheal, Melvin Many Grey Horses and Lionel Dumont; brothers Fredrick Brass and Valrae Brass; brother-in-law Chester ""Golly"" Heavyrunner; nephews Herbert James Brass and Blaze Brass Fraser and friends Charles ""Chuck"" Jackman and Rose Yellowfeet.

A wake will be held at #54 Jerry Potts Blvd West, Lethbridge beginning at 3:00PM on Monday, January 21, 2008.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
