Alan Konynenbelt

ALAN KONYNENBELT of Lethbridge passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the age of 71 years.

Chosen by God and precious to Him, 1 Peter 2:4, as he also was to us and dearly loved by his wife Gerri ""Blondie"" of 47 years; son Neal (Suellen) Konynenbelt and their daughter Kari; son Marlin (Darlene) Konynenbelt and their son Ryan (Megan) and their son Royce; son Vince (Dawn) Konynenbelt and their children Chris and Shantelle (Tim) and their son Nixon; daughter Jolayne (Larry) Regier and their children Brianna, Riley and Jodi; siblings Fay (Phil) Berger, Betty (Bill) Barthel, Connie (Bob) Scherpenisse, Bruce (Susie) Konynenbelt, Rosalie Konynenbelt; brother-in-law Everet Schiebout; as well as numerous and equally loved nephews and nieces. Alan was predeceased by two infant grandsons Justin Kyle Konynenbelt and Tyler Scott Konynenbelt sons of Neal and Suellen; parents Neal and Minnie Konynenbelt and one sister Tonia Schiebout.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:30pm on Monday, April 12, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 4717 - 24 Ave South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Dave Acree officiating. Family Graveside Service will be held prior in the Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Relay For Life, 317 - 10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7.
