Agnes Cook

MRS. AGNES COOK (nee POCZA) beloved wife of Edward Cook passed away Friday March 9, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Besides her loving husband of 48 years Edward she will be greatly missed by her son Tim his wife Jacquie, her beloved grandchildren Sabrina and Jordan; sister Rose Good; mother in law Miranda Cook; little Molly as well as numerous nieces nephews and their families. Born to Rose and Steve Pocza August 30, 1941 Agnes spent most of her life in Lethbridge where for many years was a beautician then later after her marriage to Ed they owned and operated many concessions and kiosks throughout Lethbridge, and later their son Tim joined the family business. Agnes greatest joy was her family, especially her two grandchildren Sabrina and Jordan. She was an incredible cook and made sure no one ever went home hungry. Agnes was a people person which is why she always worked in the service industry, it allowed to her to meet and socialize with so many people. In the last few years she has truly enjoyed her friendships and daily visits with her coffee crew.

Agnes was predeceased by her parents Rose & Steve Pocza; sisters Margaret, Vivian, and Helen as well as 2 brothers Steve & Chester.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their final respects between 10:00AM and 11:00AM on Thursday March 15, 2012 in the RIVER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2820-18 Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday March 15, 2012 in the RIVER OF LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH, with Pastor Marsha Graveland, officiating.
