Adam Ouellet, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Erin Southwell, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 49 years. Adam lived his life wide open, full of laughter, and always on his own schedule.
He leaves behind a massive, tight-knit crew who will miss his contagious energy every single day. He was the fiercely loved husband of his awesome wife, Erin, and the incredibly proud dad of Maguire, Mackenzie, Braedyn (Fawn), and Jordyn. To Aidan, Noland, River, Cayson, and Julian, he was the super proud grandpa who thought the world of his grandkids. Adam was the cherished son of Dennis and of Karen (Jim). He was a loud, loyal, and irreplaceable brother to Danielle, Lance, T.J., and Kalev. His loss is deeply felt by a massive network of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
If you knew Adam, you knew his greatest superpower: he had a beautiful habit of turning friends into family. He never met a stranger he couldn't share a laugh with, and his circle kept growing bigger and wider his entire life. He was also a proud member of the Coalhurst Legion, where he shared countless good times and stories with his dart and pool crews.
He will be missed by so many friends and family whose lives are genuinely brighter because he was in them.
Instead of mourning, his family invites everyone who knew and loved him to raise a glass and share a memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Coalhurst Legion - 5205 6 Street, Coalhurst, Alberta. The start time is strictly 1:00 PM because, as everyone knows, Adam did absolutely nothing before noon. Come as you are, bring your best stories, and help us celebrate a life beautifully and loudly lived.
