Sheila Urban Obituary

Mrs. Sheila Marilyn Urban of Lethbridge passed away at St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre on October 24, 2019 at the age of 77 years.

Sheila was born in High River to parents Wilhemine and Cyril Watt.  She later resided in Claresholm and area where she graduated high school with honors. She went on to further her education by attending Secretary School, and then went into the field of homecare and worked at the Raymond Home, then moved on to Lethbridge Home Services and retried at 65 years.

Sheila enjoyed reading, horticulture (plants) and crafts and she indulged in all. She was an active member at Nordbridge Seniors Centre where she spent a lot of time doing activities and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Fisher of Coaldale; grandchildren Maggie-Mae Beson, Ian Thomas Beson, Justin Alan Urban and Kolby Thomas Friel; great grandchildren, Thomas Alan Beson, Landon Friel and Arianna Urban; brother, Barry (Laurie) Watt; sister Janet Laczo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Wilhemine and Cyril Watt; son, Barry Alan Urban and Brother in Law Frank Laczo.
