Born on July 4, 1936 in London, Ontario. Marilyn worked for several years at the Royal Bank in London. At the Royal Canadian Legion in London, she met and married her loving husband, the late Donald Grant McKay (Sgt RCAF). Marilyn loved camping and the outdoors, with Waterton National Park and Happy Trails Fort Macleod Campsite being her favourite places. Don and Marilyn made many special friends during those years. Music was another passion of Marilyn's. As a child, she learned to play the piano and in the past few years, she enjoyed listening to weekly music performances at Martha's House and St. Michael's.
She is survived by four sons: Terry (Teresa) Elliott, Brian McKay, Kevin (Emma) McKay all of Lethbridge and David (Julien) McKay of Ottawa, Ontario; six grandchildren: Tiffani Elliott, Shauna (Shawn) Kirkland, Amy Elliott, Devyn Elliott, Conner McKay and Riley McKay; two great-grandchildren: Isabell Kirkland and Mickey Potts; as well as her brother Ken (Barb) Mills of London, Ontario.
