It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Sparkes (The Duke) of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. P.J. Cass (Sparkes), passed away after a lengthy illness of Myelodysplastic Syndrome on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the age of 75.
David was born in Danville, Quebec and later moved to Lennoxville. He has spent the last 30 years in Lethbridge where he worked for Dresser Rand for 5 years and then became one of the owners of the Pub “The Duke of Wellington” in Alberta, he enjoyed his work at The Duke but also enjoyed horse back riding, dancing and going to the mountains in his motorhomes.
