Recently, our General Manager, Jack Martin, sat down with Andrew Chernevych from the Galt Museum & Archives to begin a beautiful and necessary project: formally archiving over a century of Martin Brothers historical records, stretching all the way back to our beginning in 1907.
The Galt Museum does extraordinary work preserving the narrative of Lethbridge. We are deeply honored to work alongside them to add our archives to the collective memory of Southern Alberta.
But as we look back through these ledgers, documents, and old photographs, we are reminded of one undeniable truth.
A century of history is not an entitlement; it is a profound stewardship.
