1955 ~ 2017
May the air carry her spirit gently.
May the fire release her soul.
May the water cleanse her.
Washing her clean of pain and sorrow.
May the earth receive her.
May the wheel turn and bring her to rebirth.
Ms. Bonnie Duncan of Lethbridge passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 62 years.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Duncan; children, Dan (Jessica) Duncan, Courtney McCuaig and Tiffany (Greg) Wasper; grandchildren, Toni, Sydney, Ethan, Chloe, Jordan and Zachary; siblings, Mark (Sue) Duncan, Kim (Lorie) Duncan, Tracy (Rick) Spillman, Lake (Anita) Duncan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bonnie is predeceased by her father, Bob Duncan.
Bonnie, born on May 3, 1955 to Bob and Joyce Duncan, spent a lifetime caring and supporting others. Her greatest strength was her compassion for others. A capacity for understanding and connecting to people and their unique challenges, Bonnie made a difference in the lives of many, while employed at Nanaimo Family Life, Safe Haven and Training Inc.
Bonnie loved her children deeply and unconditionally. She loved them right where they were at every stage of their lives. Her hope for them was to search out the positive, believe in themselves, and to express their love. Bonnie leaves Dan, Courtney, and Tiffany knowing that she cherished them more than all else.
In lieu of flowers, Bonnie would wish that you treat each other gently, with love and patience, tolerance and care.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
